Camping on an island? That means planning your route, packing smart, and knowing the ferry rules.
🚤 How to Get There
Campers must use the Peanut Island Shuttle from Riviera Beach Marina. Other ferries (like Sailfish Marina) don’t allow camping gear.
Camper Ferry Info:
Arrive: 11 AM – 2 PM only
Depart: By 11 AM the next day
Fares:
$30/adult, $15/child (round trip)
Extra items: $10 per bag beyond the limit
Need to leave and return? Get an Off-Island Pass for $12
📞 Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, and you’ll need your campground confirmation to board.
🎒 What to Pack (and What Not to)
✅ Bring:
Drinking water, all food/drinks
Tent, sleeping gear, lighting
Trash bags — there are no trash bins
Bug spray, sunscreen, rain protection
Cash or card for ferry, firewood, rentals
