Peanut Island is a small waterfront park in Palm Beach County, only accessible by boat or ferry — and yes, it has an official campground! With just 17 tent-only sites, it’s a low-key but beautiful place to spend a night under the stars.
🏕 What the Campground Offers
17 tent-only sites (no RVs, hammocks, or campers)
Located on the southeast side of the island
Each site includes:
Tent pad
Picnic table
Fire ring with grill top
Charcoal grill
Access to restrooms with hot showers
⚠️ There’s no electricity or drinking water — you must bring your own.

Book online through Palm Beach County Parks
No same-day bookings — reserve up to 90 days in advance
Weekends and holidays fill up fast
Rates:
$30/night for single site (up to 6 people)
$60/night for expanded site (up to 12 people)
Cancellation Policy:
Cancel at least 1 week ahead for a refund. Changes allowed up to 11 AM on arrival day.
