Peanut Island is paradise — but like any good park, it comes with rules to keep it clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you’re arriving by ferry or boat, here’s what to know before you set foot on the sand.
🚷 General Rules for All Guests
No alcohol unless you’re camping at a reserved site
No glass containers — not even for drinks or jars
No pets allowed (only trained service animals)
No loud music or speakers in public spaces
No open fires outside grills or campsite fire rings
No drones unless permitted
These rules are enforced by rangers and sheriff deputies, and signs are posted throughout the park.
🗑️ Leave No Trace
There are no trash bins on Peanut Island. Bring your own bags and pack out everything — wrappers, bottles, charcoal, even cigarette butts.
💡 Tip: Bring a designated trash bag just for your group to make cleanup easier.
