Camping on Peanut Island is unforgettable — ocean views, starry skies, and quiet nights. But it’s also a primitive, rule-driven campground. Here’s what every camper should know before checking in.


🏕️ Key Campground Rules

  • Check-in: After 1 PM | Check-out: Before 11 AM

  • Quiet hours: 11 PM to 7 AM — no exceptions

  • Max 6 people per site

  • No electricity or hookups — plan accordingly

  • Keep gear tidy — no giant setups or scattered equipment


🔥 Fire & Cooking Rules

  • Fires only in designated rings or charcoal grills

  • Bring your own firewood or charcoal (none available on island)

  • Never leave fires unattended and fully extinguish before bed

  • No collecting firewood from the island — it's protected


🧴 Bonus Tips:

  • Alcohol allowed only at your registered campsite

  • Bring bug spray, rain gear, and enough drinking water

  • Campers must use the Riviera Beach Marina shuttle with special gear limits
